Lynn Fritz inducted into the Logistics Hall of Fame

Lynn Fritz, on behalf of Fritz Institute, has been inducted into The Logistics Hall of Fame (LHOF), a prestigious honor in recognition of the work of Fritz Institute in the world of Humanitarian Logistics.

The Logistics Hall of Fame®, an organization based in Germany, has the mission to encourage and promote innovations and advancement in logistics.  The organization acts as an advocate for Logistics by documenting outstanding achievements and highlighting the critical role that logistics play.  One of the key undertaking for the organization is to recognize and honor leading figures who have made outstanding contribution to the development of logistics and supply chain management.

Fritz Institute has the distinction of being the first and only non- commercial entity given this honor, highlighting the significance of logistics and supply chain in the humanitarian sector.  Lynn Fritz joins the ranks of previous members such as Jeff Bezos of Amazon, Frederick W. Smith of Fedex, and Gottfried Schenker of DB Schenker to name a few.

The reception to honor 2021 recipients was held in Berlin on November 25, 2021, attended by logistics leaders spanning different industries.  Laudatory speech congratulating Lynn Fritz was given by Steffen Bilger, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport who cited numerous achievements of Fritz Institute particularly in collaborating with humanitarian organizations to improve how supply chain is managed during emergencies.

“Ultimately, countless people in disaster areas owe their lives indirectly to Lynn C. Fritz because relief supplies arrive more efficiently and quickly today than in the past.”

– Steffen Bilger, German Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport
