Nathalie Butcher, Project Manager -
Nathalie Butcher joined Fritz Institute in October 2010 as Project Manager for
current initiatives, in particular driving the ongoing development of the Fritz
Institute / CILT (UK) Humanitarian Logistics Certification Program and supporting
its ever-growing student and alumni bodies. Butcher has an unusual background
that combines business with project management in the humanitarian field, which
is ideal for managing execution of practical solutions for humanitarian logistics professionals.
Previously, Butcher worked for the United Nations Joint Logistics Center in
Sudan for three years, where she was Sector Lead for the Non-Food Items and
Emergency Shelter Sector, as well as responsible for Information Management,
Donor Relations and Planning. Prior to getting involved in humanitarian field,
Butcher spent five years in corporate and supply chain finance, primarily
with General Mills, Inc. She has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management,
a BS in Finance from Lehigh University, and is a graduate of the Fritz/CILT
Certification in Humanitarian Logistics course.
