| HUMANITARIAN LOGISTICS CONFERENCE |
 |
|
Each year Fritz Institute hosts the Humanitarian Logistics Conference (HLC) in Geneva, Switzerland. The first annual conference was held in 2003 and has rapidly grown and matured since then. Beginning with just a handful of participants, HLC is recognized today as the only forum that brings together over 50 humanitarian logistics professionals to address their common interests in an impartial environment. Participants include logisticians from the UN, Red Cross and Red Crescent movement and leading international NGOs. The Humanitarian Logistics Conference is unique in its ability to convene all of the actors in the humanitarian "ecosystem" to come together and focus on improving humanitarian logistics. In 2004 we also held our first regional HLC in Nairobi, Kenya.
